“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good
work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Cook, clean, teach, repeat…..
If this sounds familiar, you are very welcome and much understood here!
Hey there! My name is Stephanie Harrison and this is my family.
I am a sometimes happy, sometimes harried, always hopeful, ever grateful homeschooling, homemaker. By God’s providence, I am Mom to four boys and help meet to one amazing man.
I am not writing this blog because I have arrived. I have miles and miles to go! However, I do want to share with you advice and resources I have gleaned over my 12 years of homeschooling.
Homeschooling is more than schooling at home. You can’t just go into a room, shut the door, and play teacher. When you accept the role as “homeschool teacher” you don’t simply add that to your many other roles as a mother.
Homeschooling is a full time job with no paid vacations. It is a profession like no other and you are the CEO. You CAN rock this! Learning to effectively juggle all the hats you wear as a mom will make you a better homeschool teacher!
Welcome! I am so glad that you have found me here at Grace and Goldfish! No matter where you are in your homeschool journey, I hope you will be encouraged, inspired and entertained as you strive with God’s grace to fulfill your highest calling.
