DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE TERIYAKI BURGERS

(Serves 12)

3 pounds of ground beef or ground chuck
Salt and pepper to taste
2 – 10 ½ ounce cans of condensed beef broth
2 tablespoons of gluten free soy sauce
4 teaspoons of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground ginger
12 split gluten free hamburger buns

Season the hamburger with salt and pepper. Shape the beef into 12 burgers, about ½-inch thick.

Cook the beef patties in a skillet, over medium heat, until they are browned on each side, about 5 minutes per side if you like medium burgers. Pour off any fat from the burgers. You may also want to grill the burgers.

To make the teriyaki sauce, place the beef broth, gluten free soy sauce, brown sugar and ground ginger in the skillet if you have cooked the burgers on the stove top or in a small sauce pan if you have grilled the burgers. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat. Cook the mixture for about 5 minutes.

Remove the sauce pan from the heat. Place the burgers on the split gluten free hamburger buns and serve with the sauce.

ENJOY your gluten free teriyaki burgers!
